چکیده
This article examines the influence of permanent center atmospheric action - Arctic anticyclone (Arctic High) on dynamics adjacent circulating oscillatory structures North Atlantic. Analysis variance was used to estimate degree state centers atmosphere in The High change pressure Icelandic minimum and Azores maximum is estimated at 48%. showed not statistical significance, confirmed by Fisher's test. impact circulation systems Atlantic 7%, statistically significant. A significant correlation found between intensity action. With strengthening anticyclone, depression deepen. coefficient were -0.39.

The Influence of Atlantic Sea Surface Temperature Anomalies on the North Atlantic Oscillation
The influence of Atlantic sea surface temperature (SST) anomalies on the atmospheric circulation over the North Atlantic sector during winter is investigated by performing experiments with an atmospheric general circulation model (GCM). These consist of a 30-year run with observed SST anomalies for the period 1961–90 confined geographically to the Atlantic Ocean, and of a control run with clima...
متن کاملCombined Effects of the North Atlantic Oscillation and the Arctic Oscillation on Sea Surface Temperature in the Alborán Sea
We explored the possible effects of the North Atlantic Oscillation (NAO) and Arctic Oscillation (AO) on interannual sea surface temperature (SST) variations in the Alborán Sea, both separately and combined. The probability of observing mean annual SST values higher than average was related to NAO and AO values of the previous year. The effect of NAO on SST was negative, while that of AO was pos...
متن کاملImplications of the recent trend in the Arctic/North Atlantic Oscillation for the North Atlantic thermohaline circulation
Most projections of greenhouse gas-induced climate change indicate a weakening of the thermohaline circulation (THC) in the North Atlantic in response to increased freshening and warming in the subpolar region. These changes reduce high latitude upper ocean density, and therefore weaken the THC. Using ensembles of numerical experiments with a coupled ocean-atmosphere model, it is found that thi...
